Well.. to me it feels slower, everything. Defenders in OF chasin down balls in gaps i notice the most but i cant be going crazy im already there

That there were no hitting tweaks in this update. The game was already feeling off and it's only gotten worse.
The best thing I can tell you is some good advice Jimmy Dugan gave me when he signed my baseball all them years ago, “avoid the clap.”

There it is. Every update someone says they changed something with hitting without telling us. Haven’t played since the update so can’t speak for sure but willing to bet when I fire it up it feels the exact same to me.

You're batting .315 over 13 games in the bottom of the ranks which means rookie/veteran difficulty online. I doubt you'd be able to tell the difference honestly but thanks for you input nonetheless, without actually even playing like you said so yourself.

That's not a bad thing, surprised they actually pulled it off this time then. They've been trying to nerf it every year without any success.

True, which to me only underscores the fact how much trouble they've had to "successfully" nerf it.

Fair enough but my point still stands. Gets old seeing the same tired complaints all the time.
Edit to add I prefer to play offline to avoid the [censored] that y’all complain about all the time lol but in my limited online experience I haven’t had many issues.

And here you are complaining about my complaint. I hear what you're saying though, there are many people who complain over anything and everything. But we are not all the same and not every complaint is unfounded. To throw everyone who complains at any given time about any given thing on a big pile and discredit them just for the concept of complaining is not right. I've been playing this game for many many years at a high level year in year out. I've spent so many hours into this franchise, I know what I'm talking about. Your reply discredits all of that in the snap of a finger, just because I'm complaining. I don't appreciate that and that's why I responded the way I did.

I'm hitting over 300 with multiple ws seasons and don't think anything has changed through the 3 games I've played so far. Granted a small sample size, but I'd guess yours is too

I’m still not holding my breath that it’s actually fixed, let’s see what everyone says in a week or two. Remember everyone was all f’ing ho about contact swinging being fixed, yet here we are still complaining it’s not fixed. If I’m fact this is fixed, I will be more than thrilled and excited and will absolutely give SDS the credit they deserve, but we’ve been through this way too many times.

Ok the field of dreams is a low elevation, so the ball isn’t going to fly like shippet or coots field

I have hit a ton of homers in the 10 event games I played. Don’t feel anything off.
But I also don’t feel the sinkers were addressed.

It’s really hard to tell when I’m forced to play a moment on rookie, a showdown on veteran, an event game on all star, and then a ranked game on HoF

️I do know they broke tags at home. I had a guy thrown out at home by about 6 steps and the catcher had ball in glove waiting. Trea Turner slides and somehow kicked the ball out of the catcher’s glove and was safe. Never seen that happen once since I’ve been playing this game for the last 10 years.

Oh wow so the ball actually came out of the glove? Never seen that either. I've had times where the catcher freezes and doesn't attempt to apply a tag at all and the runner can just score. That has been a returning issue every year as well.

- Give all the meta pitchers sinkers whether they threw one in real life or not.
- Nerf sinkers because they are “unrealistic”.
