Did they change the hitting? Does it seem a little different to anyone else? I'm getting alot hits that seem like they should be going further, perfects dying on the track ect..

100% agree...someone will come along saying it sounds like a contact swinger...but I hardly ever use contact swing. I probably use it less than 1% of the time and that is on two strike counts. I could list about 15 things with hitting that seem different lately, but it all just seems off and I am having trouble adjusting.

I never use contact swing either. Besides I knew about the patch that attempted to nerf contact swings (failed) and reduce the accuracy of ppp (failed again). But I was hitting fine after that patch. Hitting seems just a little off here recently. I'm still winning about the same but my opponents and I are defiantly hitting less xbhs

I'm pretty sure they ramp up the resistance on the sliders in rs as the season progresses. All these OP hitters but you still have the same scores as when we were using mainly gold's with a few diamonds mixed in first week. I guess it just balances the hitting so we aren't loaded with 12-9 ballgames all the time when all these sluggers are released. And they released a lot lately

Yeah
Does it seem to you like the astros are getting less cards then other teams, or is just me? Only one silver Topps now card and we have the best record in the AL.
I though multiple time we were going to get a Topps now altuve, he's hit a couple big walk off homeruns.

I can't hit worth a flip today, late on everything. When I do make a perfect hit, it's a line out or a fly out, dumb

Online rated today was the same for me. Hit a perfect with Winker and it just died out. Was odd. Had a couple other hits that were not perfect but thought they were gone but no dice.

Yeah

Havent really noticed. Still early too. I think it is more about the history of a franchise on how many cards you get, Astros are a newer franchise in that regards. Topps Now and POTM, prospects Future Stars is all the other ones they could really get. And they got 2 POTM last go round in Pressly and Correa. So IDK. I think they try to balance it the best they can, but its gonna be hard to be perfect.

Hitting online is... not easy. Seems like most games I play.... and I play online rarely because of it... are 1-0, 2-1. I scored six in three innings tonight and someone quit. It was awesome because he kept doing wacky things from the get go.

For the record, I don't think Hitting is too hard, I think pitching is way to easy. Ppp sucks, it's great, but it sucks.

They definitely did nerf them. They aren't anywhere near as powerful as they once were. Once you get ahead and they go to contact swinging most of the time it's an easy way to get them chasing.
