Bunt, bunt, bunt...and another bunt

Yes, this game sucks.
-
Hard to HR's off bunts.
-
New stat. Pitchers Bunts / 9's.
-
News flash. They all suck [censored] because everyone in the world can bunt a sinker 6 inches in on the hands perfectly !

Eliminate bunting in online games. Problem solved, you're welcome.

Except that with a pitcher batting, bunting should be a part of the strategy that goes with it. Instead of no bunting, maybe fix the defense and make bunting more difficult.
-
Or even better, apply steeper and steeper penalties for REPEATED actions… whether that is bunting, or stealing bases, or high splitters or sinkers, or whatever other glitches and exploits are being abused.
One bunt at a key moment is strategy. A full team of repeated hunters is not realistic. A stolen base is great, but 10 stolen bases a game because of animation glitches, not so much.
Just severely punish repeated abuse of an action, put it an exponential reduction in success rate.

Stealing bases is an exploit?
-
It's not fix but setting your defense up on players who exploit this helps tremendously. I pull my second baseman in and my third baseman. Usually those who bunt down first base line can be taken by my second baseman who is playing in, leaving the first baseman to actual man the bag.

Not necessarily an exploit as much as it’s just way too easy to get infield singles with them. It’s not realistic baseball.

What does infield singles have to do with stealing?
-
yes definitely the base stealing AND base stealing with some of the gms faster players definitely gives an unfair advantage to that style of gameplay
-
Whenever I face someone who's bunting a lot, I try to throw high in the zone and get them to pop it up.
-
Make bunting like hitting!! You have to move the PCI to get a good bunt down.
-
I just lost a game in events where I took a 3-0 lead in the bottom of the 2nd inning only for my opponent to start the top of the 3rd with 2 straight fluky bunt singles followed by 3 bombs making it 8-3 in a blink of an eye. lol
-
yes, because the community is littered with little 10 year olds who can't hit so they resort to bunting around the bags. Don't worry my guy, they'll be gone to Madden in a few weeks

Hopefully. I barely won a game against a guy that just bunted/stole like crazy and he pitched Cabrera.

This. I don't mind bunts but to pull off a Juan Pierre special takes skill

I quoted the wrong comment my bad. That was about the bunts, stealing though is easy to stop if you’re good at pick offs and have a good catcher like I do since I use the Phillies and have JT Realmuto aka BCIB
