Issues with showdown

Anyone else having issues with 4th inning showdown? I went to go back into it today having 17% progress and it tells me I have 901813856 outs. I try and go into the next mission it sends me to a cpu game then when I quit it sends me back to the game summary of the last RS season I played.... now I have to forfeit the showdown and start over. this game is tripping today. Had a game earlier where the pitcher threw the ball but it came from his glove side everytime. It only lasted 3 pitches and dude lost connection so I'm assuming that was internet iussue, but wow...

That happened to me earlier this month with the same showdown. I was only 2 missions into it and when I went back the next day to complete it, it looked exactly how you are describing. You unfortunately have to forfeit to start over, but before doing that, reboot your system. I didn't reboot and ended up wasting another 500 stubs because it kept telling me my opponent (the cpu) had an illegal lineup.
Edit: Forfeit the entry, then re-boot.
