Seems like one is a World Series reward (which so far over 1700 people have reached this season) and one is a BR Flawless reward (which has been accomplished by significantly fewer people)

Just as an FYI the person who responded to you is the most knowledgeable person when it comes to the Show this version or any other version. You asked why Harper was worth more then then walker and why they gap you never mentioned anything related to wether it was attributes or play style or whatever else. Tge answer you received was the correct answer based on the question asked.

I did not ask why Harper cost more. I asked was Harper worth that much more. I can easily know why cards are priced the way they are with some basic common sense.

How would you know 1700 people have reached the WS unless you either work for SDS or really know someone well that does? No way for the average Joe to know that.
Just saw your post. I guess every day you could go in and see what new names made the WS and add to spreadsheet. but if someone made and then tanked down or lost before you caught that name you wouldn't know.

It's a good question... I think BR path to 100 points is easier than 40 wins in ranked seasons (what those of us will have to do that cant make WS or go 12-0) I'd be curious to see if someone has played with both and what they think

BR path to 100 is WAY easier than 40 wins. I started at 400 this season and was I think 25-5 before I reached WS. This means I would have needed 15 more wins on legend to get to 40 or do what I did and tank. 40 wins is quite the grind.

Yeah for real. I’ve decided that it’s easier to tank and possibly get fast wins ( rage quits) to get to 40.

What it DOES show is players that currently reside in the World Series category NOW (which, if you'll notice, was why I added the 'over' qualifier).

The term "worth" is what is causing the problem. This is an opinion not fact. An actual baseball card is not even worth a penny. It's cardboard with a printed picture on it. Just because it was of a popular player it becomes more valuable to those people. If there are few of them then the value goes up even higher. People are willing to pay millions for rare baseball cards. To them it is "worth" it. to me, Not so much. So the answer to your question is Harper workth 170k more than Walker? can be answered by saying "apparently he is for some people" as they are currently paying that much more for him. The real question you should be asking and that can't be answered in this forum is "Is it worth it to me to pay 170k more for Harper?" only you can answer that.
