Daily request for the mods to take a look at this thread and please provide information if possible. If you guys don't have the answers right away, that's totally fine- that's an answer too.
Does h/9 only impact how large an opponent’s pci is or also their exit velocity or squared up pitches? I feel like anything but perfect vs degrom and the like is hot with a pool noodle
I've added your question to the post.
I hope you corrected my god awful spelling
I only changed "or squared up pitches" to "on squared up pitches". Was that all?

wow not a peep from anyone in 11 days? This speaks VOLUMES about this company TY for this eye opener.

These questions should be easy answers for the devs, why keep ignoring this thread SDS ?

I don't understand it either. At least give a reply out of decency. I spent time and effort into this thread, least thing they could do is acknowledge this thread and say they'll look into it or whatever. Or for all I care they reply that they can't share this information for whatever reason. But any form of reply would be a way better look than flat out ignoring this altogether hoping people will forget about it. I'm very disappointed in all of you @Collin_SDS_PSN @SDS_Jax_PSN @Victor_SDS_PSN. Just give a reply so we can move on, I really don't see the issue here so please help me understand.

It’s more than likely to stay away from what happens to games like COD or Street fighter. One gun, or attachment, or fighter, or move, is proven to be the meta and nobody does or chooses ANYTHING different.
Take contact swing for example. Do you really want them to tell everyone exactly what power drop off (almost none) and vision/contact you gain (massive) from hitting O as opposed to X? It’s bad enough as it is….but what happens when it’s just written in the hand book and EVERYONE knows it’s totally broken. No real reason to ever use X again.
Example 2….Meter vs Pure Analog. For years people said pure analog was better, the Devs said it isn’t and never was. Had they said that before pinpoint pitching, who would have taken time to get good with Analog if they knew meter was superior all along?
Let say they break the code down, every attribute, every quirk and everything that makes everything happen. Well the debates between Turner Betts and Jackie come to a quick stop. What happens when quirks outweigh 10 extra power and Turner who is free becomes the obvious choice? Who would collect 42 cards for Jackie when the Devs say he is inferior? Now money is being effected.
Part of what makes this game great is that people need to figure these things out for themselves. People still don’t think confidence matters, or swing types, and don’t realize if you put a curveball in the dirt, the difference between blocking it will come down to wether you had a good release or not. I don’t need SDS to tell everyone everything about the game, they can figure it out on there own.
Breaking everything down would cause the game to break down. It should be easy to understand that.

Because they are tragically horrible as their jobs. Only SDS devs are worse.
It seems everyone outside of the content team wears a helmet to work and lick pavement

You ever think their responses are limited to what the higher ups allow them to talk about? I get that it’s frustrating but calling out devs individually isn’t going to do anything. It’s like calling out the Twitter dude for gameplay issues.
They 100% know about the problems but the company as a whole has chosen to go silent on them. Not Collin or whoever else you want to tag. For all you know, one of these mods went to the gameplay team and relayed the information only to get told not to speak on it.

@genopolanco_PSN
I think at the very east they would be able to say they can't answer the questions right now, give us the bare minimum at this point and we will be happy. Also I guarantee if someone started talking politics they would be responding in a matter of minutes -

I can answer #6. HR/9 hasn't done anything for years. It's a useless attribute like durability now.
I recently smashed a line drive off of Rookie Whitey Ford's head in a BR game and they had to cart him off the field. His durability is 93. Maybe if it was 100 he could have toughed it out?
Probably not. I really clocked him.
And... my poor opponent had to bring in a "cold" pitcher... but does that matter? I don't know that either. It would be nice to know stuff.
IRL, after an injury to the current pitcher, the new pitcher would get as many warmup pitches as the umpire deems necessary (MLB rule 8.03) which could allow the pitcher to be "warm". This would be simulated in game!

I disagree with practically everything you just said. But more importantly, if they don't want to break everything down for whatever reason they should just say so. Ignoring this thread altogether is a bad look. That's what I've been arguing.

If that last part is the case, there is absolutely no downside whatsoever by simply telling us that you relayed it to the devs and you have no additional information at this point. Staying quiet on the other hand, is going to turn people against you. I'm hardly the only person in this thread who is baffled by the simple lack of response.

The only problem is that they have commented on gameplay in the past. At this point I would even be happy with them saying "F you we ain't telling you [censored]" because at least that would be acknowledging it

Actually, they are community managers - not mods.
Part of their job is to moderate the forums but they are also supposed to be the information hub between game devs and the player base.
They are not being employed by SDS to simply moderate forums.
If they can respond to threads about beards and a game challenge then they can take the time at least respond to this thread even if it's to tell us they are not at libterty to provide that information.

I just think you’re going after the wrong people is all. I agree the lack of communication is frustrating but there has to be a reason beyond what we know. And them saying they can’t speak on something just throws someone else under the bus, so they keep quiet. Just my theory, doesn’t mean I agree with how they’re handling thing. It just feels like a memo was sent telling people to shut off communication. Is it good customer service? No. But are they still getting their money? Yes.

N.umbersI think Collin is just A.I. at this point. Reading this post will just result in a string of 1s and 0s equivalent to whatever LOL is for a computer.
