PS4 delay

I have a Samsung LED smart tv and when I play on my ps4 the game is really delayed so it’s near impossible to pick up pitches especially online. Is there any way to fix this? It’s not my internet bc when I play on my Xbox there’s no delay and it happens on offline too. Is there a specific tv setting I need to adjust? Not the smartest tech guy here lol

You very well might have a game mode on the tv picture settings. I know when I switched to game mode everything felt like slow motion for a week.
