First time playing on XCloud question

I got into xcloud last night but I saw that when the game starts, it asks you to pick a fav team. Like when you did first time playing back in April.
I turned it off immediately as I didnt want my stubbs/progress to be reset.
For those who play on xcloud, do you have to start over and your progress/stubbs get reset to zero? or does it sync up your account?

Dont have any answers sorry, but was wondering how the game played in Xcloud? Much delays? How was online? Thx

I've used Xcloud. Your progress and stubs will not get reset to zero. The whole initial set up thing is just like if you were setting up another Xbox console or if you reinstalled the game. It's separate from your save data. Once you get past that, your diamond dynasty team will be waiting for you.
Just be aware, playing on Xcloud isn't ideal. The latency sucks for a baseball game like this. It's good for navigating menus and such though. You might be able to get through daily moments or something simple like that.

I tried the game DD OFFLINE SHOWDOWN on Xbox Remote and it played pretty flawless. There were a few times here and there where my connectivity got low and there were some lag but it was acceptable. At that time, my entire family were on devices or gaming consoles, so around midnight when everyone was asleep, I did remote play again and it was pretty solid. one small lag that lasted like 2 seconds.
I tried some other games on xcloud and it was fabulous so far. the only other sports game I saw was PES Soccer and it played fine.
Thanks for the info about THE SHOW. I will test it out now I know nothing will reset. And ya, mainly going offline with it. Like Moments/Showdown/Conquest. I think it will play fine in those modes but online h2h/ranked/events/BR, lol no way.

so far so good but only played offline DD Modes/games. online i dont know about and don't really want to try.
