You should be able to choose an agent based on popularity. One that'll give you different boosts.

You should be able to play the career of any player in the game. I particularly would like to develop prospects with the goal being to make it to the Hall of Fame. But why not let you take control of any player in the game.

I can sit here and think of improvements all day. This game mode is so dull, developers only care about DD clearly.

I love the idea of assuming a player’s career in RTTS! I have been dreaming on this for years. I know you can player lock in Franchise Mode but it is tedious and feels unrewarding.

I’m particularly interested in the idea of assuming the career of a fringe player and just trying to survive 😂 Sounds more challenging and fun than hitting .330/580/.675 every season. That gets boring...

Question if you control the fringe prospect and level him up the same way you do your My Ballplayer in RTTS how does he wind up being any different than your My Ballplayer in regards to how he performs?

Good question! How I imagine it (but it will never be this way) is a combination of RTTS and Player Lock. When you would start a career you would choose between creating a ballplayer or choosing an existing ballplayer. Creating a ballplayer would go as RTTS goes. Choosing an existing ballplayer would leave you at the mercy of the automated player progression. “A”rated ballplayers progress (automatically) faster than “B” rated (so on and so forth). The only difference from Player Lock would really to be able to play any chosen ballplayer with the more fluid home screens of RTTS.

Fringe players, career minor leaguers, rising superstars, going for that 3000th strikeout, etc. The possibilities are endless for the way to play!
