He's going to be the big collection. I know everything lined up for it being Hank today, but he was always the prime candidate for the collection

For being within a week of dropping TA3 and all that all star content I don’t agree. Can’t have everything in a week.

I certainly wouldn't be shocked if Aaron is one of the later collections, but I think they missed something today. They released a 99 anyway, so it's not like it would have been a stretch. I put it in another thread, but they released a 99 of a guy that didn't even play in the All-Star game instead of the guy who has been selected an All-Star the most times in history. And after MLB honored him the past few days. Swing and a miss there.

yup. They screwed up. It's like they advertise a program on 4/15 Jackie Robinson day only to give us a Pee Wee Reese program. They could have easily made today the 2nd BIG collection reward and had Aaron as the big reward. Then they could have made Clemente, Mantle or another player the year end collection reward.

The truth is there has been a ton of potential with the content the past few weeks, but it all has been just a touch off. Everything could have benefited from them asking a few more questions and using a touch more foresight before pushing the "go" button.

It honestly feels as if this Acuna was going to be the card they drew up back when the game was going to be in Atlanta and felt the need to release it somehow but I'm all for this should have been Aaron with the way he was honored this week and it being 7/15 with a thursday update instead of the usual friday. That said Acuna is certainly not a bad card and I'll take a new RF

They already have plans for Hank. They didn't screw anything up. Glad they didn't release him this early. Would be too much in one week for sure.
