whos your middle infield atm?

I just got to wander 99 and finally believe its time to move off groshans. I didnt play any ranked last season so my lineup is all new faces. im having difficulty deciding between 99 wander, soriano, jackie, and the AS turner. as of now I got wander and jackie since it seems jackie has less pop than turner but better contact and fielding with almost identical speed. im not deadset on any of the 4 for sure and was looking for some insight or opinions. all other 7 positons are locked down pretty tightly at the time being so no turner to cf or something. thanks guys!

Turner has like 6 active quirks so definitely give him a shot at 2nd. It’s pretty [censored] close between him and Jackie tho.

Thinking it’s gonna be chipper at SS and Trea turner at second. Both secondary positions but Love me some Trea turner and moving chipper to SS let’s me play Vlad at 3rd. I foresee lots of errors but yolo.

Yea I do the same. Defense doesn’t mean sht until HOF then I make adjustments to the squad

How'd you hit with jackie?
I was average. With his stats felt like I could do better.
Cronenworth is doing great for me.

Gotta fit them in where they can. I P5 turner LS and love his cards so he is for sure in. But you might be right that I think my CAPs primary is 2B so maybe him at 2nd, Trea at SS and chipper in left might be better. Unfortuantely the log jam at first means Vlad has to go to 3rd because who’s on first.

this is my thoughts, my turner 85 in the HOF event is batting like 455 with 20 home runs in close to 100 at bats. Im no bunter so its all legit singles/hits with him. thats why im here tho it is so so close haha

thanks for all the comments and thoughts thus far! sorry im not going to quote everyone, I saw someone with ozzie who is one of my favs and imo amazing swing but that a** contact against righties is worrisome since I think all ill see soon is degrom. that croneworth may be someone to loook into. as well!

How can you tell which quirks are active
Live series cards used to have them exclusively, so it was the ones on those that you never saw on legends or flashbacks. Some you can still visually see with the PCI.
There are always the last ones when you are looking and I believe “bomber” is the last none active quirk. Those are just measured by stats. If they have over 80 power they have bomber for example.
Live ones are usually more specific. Excels at hitting fastballs, breaking [censored], first pitch, with 2 strikes, day, night, away, home, runner on third, when losing, 9th inning are all active. Look at yours players PCI with one strike then 2, or on the first pitch and you will see the difference. SDS has never said what they fully do, you can only see the PCI increase but I wouldn’t be shocked if you also gain power.
HRD Soto is another card with almost every active perk you want, and he’s already been my hardest out to get for a year.

How can you tell which quirks are active
Pop time is actually another one that’s easy to spot. Only 3 live series catchers have it, Realmuto being one, a bronze being another. Meanwhile Pudge who is like 90+ in everything defensively doesnt.

Be aware , Turner cost me a game yesterday at second. His defensive penalty at 2nd makes him awful.
