I think they need to reward your pci placement on spam pitches. I literally just lost to some trash dude that spammed 102 inside even though I “guessed” every time abs was right…. Fix the timing window on insides pitches .dude had 1 solid hit and I’m still trying to figure out how seeing that he struck out 15 times at least but, low and behold he somehow hits a bomb. So inconsistent, plays to casual spam pitchers that would get wrecked in real life

I used to destroy inside pitches and pitches down and in but this year it it like I can't move my pci fast enough.

I'm fine with that. I think the free content is too much. I posted already, but why should someone who pre-ordered, plays everyday, spent money, did all the programs, all the innings, all the collections, spent hours flipping cards, have the same overall team as someone who has put in a fraction of the time but completed team Affinity 3. All the live series collection cards are just mediocre now. Collecting every live series should reward the best cards. Not doing 5 moments and some exchanges.
I let the cpu create my best lineup and it didn't even have trout on my bench. It had ta3 Mullins in center, a free card over a card so many spent 500k stuns on. Enjoy your free content, and enjoy everyone having the game God squad, enjoy every game facing the new 97 relievers.

also cabrera's command really isnt that good, ive had a lot of success just being super patient against him

They need to make affinitys where you need to complete stage 1 to unlock stage 2 players or stage 2 to unlock stage 3, shouldnt be able to come in on december and do stage 4 affinitys instantly and get a team as good as someone whos been grinding all year.

I can catch up to 100 .. i can't catch up to a pitch that looks like a breaking ball and ends up a 102 sinker

Anybody that are facing these pitchers are guessing between sinker or slider , the stupid breaking ball animation and the 2-3 feet of break on a sinker at 102 .. goodluck ! what are they trying to accomplish .. 2% of players can hit on the deadball era 700-850

It's BC pinpoint pitching.
When you are good with it the pitch will go where you want it 99% of the time. Not enough window of errors.
Also pinpoint doesn't eat up stamina like the other pitching methods

can someone explain how do you play this on HOF with edward cabrera and all these ridiculous pitch speed sinkers... i basicly expect it and still cant catch up?? like this is a commom issues everybody spam 97+ sinkers and it sets up all other pitches and you are screwed for the game ... like nobody wants to use somebody that throws a 4 seam unless they throw 99..
this whole pitchers with unbelievable movement and velocity with the command of greg maddux makes this game unplayable at HOF .. cant even imagine legend ... everybody faces the same unhittable pitcher which sucks the fun out of the game
SDS .. EA sports will get this [censored] right next year and they coming for ya .. we are tired of this sinkers ruinning the [censored] game .. edward cabrera shouldnt be a endgame pitcher 2 weeks in!!
and to think HOF was way more realistic than AS...until he was introduced

The whole game is no fun playing garbage players that spam inside fastballs that are impossible to hit. If you can’t work your pitches you should be punished on any level. It’s absolute trash that inside pitches are so hard to hit when they spam it over abs over. In real life you would get sent back down to the minors if you pitches like that
I noticed this in the event. I know we are using common pitchers so of course I hit better, but I’m still pitching at least decently because I know how to work pitches.
In ranked games all you have are high sinkers repeatedly that are impossible to hit.

I agree high inside 4 seam or sinker is tough to hit. But it can be done and they will stop doing it if you can be good or early on them.

I think 4 seamers should be 102mph as that makes sense, but sinkers?
