Sorry, I need to rant a bit, but how the F*** does Scherzer get the start over Wheeler!?!?!?!? Scherzer wasn’t even initially selected to make the game (whole separate issue there)!!!! I really don’t understand how you snub Wheeler like this.

I'd be more concerned with Ohtani getting the start for no other reason than just because.
He clearly didn't earn the start and it's hard to say he's been one of the best starters in the AL this year.

I'd be more concerned with Ohtani getting the start for no other reason than just because.
He clearly didn't earn the start and it's hard to say he's been one of the best starters in the AL this year.
How crazy would it be Ohtani wins HR derby then starts the AS game the next day

Because he's Max Scherzer and the other guy is Zack Wheeler.
It's the All STAR Game, not the All 1st Half Game.

I understand that, every year someone who should not make it does, someone who should not start does. It is the AS game politics and fans do not know how to vote. The Coaches and Players should vote for there peers and can not vote for any teammates that is what I think,
