Lots of people have their home team, and follow a team from the other league. Expos (now Brewers because the Expos, well…) and White Sox because of Frank Thomas.
Red Sox for me (New England is my home town). Pirates as my “follow” team. I played Strat-O-Matic as a kid, and ended up picking the Bucs. Followed them since 1977. They hit their peak in 79, so... go Sox?

No such thing as a rays and a pirates fan you're either one or the other STOP Being a transfan the word fan come w a duty of loyalty to one team and it lasts forever any other form of fanning is blasphemous bandwagoning
Not true.. I'm a Mariners and Mets fan, Mariners because I'm from Sequim Was, Mets because I was Active Duty Stationed at the Military Academy on 9/11, the Mets did extraordinary things for us after 9/11, the Yankees as well, Pete Alonso still does great work for the Tunnels to Towers foundation. A foundation very close to my heart. Stop all the forum BS, baseball brings people together, he can like as many teams as he sees fit.
Ty for your service salute to you sir
Sir!!!!? He works for a living. I don’t know if this guy was a commissioned officer, but as a former NCO I felt compelled to make that joke.
I get that is was a joke to you, but anyone who has even stepped a pinky toe on the battlefield or even gone through and passed the training and deployed away from their family deserves the respect of 'Sir'.

Always love the Sox no matter what. But in the event they don't do anything in a season, I follow the Braves and sometimes.....wait for it.....the Yanks. It sickens me to say that, but heck I know talent when I see talent. Always will be a Jeter and Rivera fan till the day I die. They were great!

I’m Yankees fan but my dad is a Mets fan, I don’t mind rooting for the Mets if they’re doing good or end up in the postseason.
