Yes that would be true, I have bench as my top Catcher right now, I hit a lot of singles with him. But he is great for blocking balls and throwing runners out.

Yeah and One of the best hitting catchers ever has a terrible swing in this game at least for me and that is Piazza.

I'm confused about which Flashbacks and Legends count for the repeatable TA missions.
It says 'All Star Flasbacks and Legends' from all teams in a division. Do those include Second Half Heroes, Postseason, Veteran, Rookie, etc? -

Yes that would be true, I have bench as my top Catcher right now, I hit a lot of singles with him. But he is great for blocking balls and throwing runners out.
100%, I keep him on my bench now for late close games when I need the defense and to limit stolen bases.
