Let’s acknowledge the elephant in the room

It would have good contact, bad power and average to below average defense unless they seriously overrated him.
-
With every infield play being a jump throw, I feel like we have waaay too many Derek Jeters

Most cards in the game are seriously overrated. Wouldn't think they'd make a Jeter card any different

Derek Jeter was good but kind of overrated
I think this is the first time I’ve ever agreed with you. I knew the day would come. I guess we just became best friends.

Jeter was and is extremely overrated.

My man.

I've watched the catcher do no look jump throws like a boss.
-
How about a Mariners Milestone 30/30 club Alex Rodriguez card then?
-
My favorite animation is when the pitcher fields a dribbler down the line and turns and throws out 99 speed players with a shot-put style throw with his momentum carrying him the opposite direction. Super realistic.
-
And when infielders don't make that play. "My FiElDeRs HaVe No UrGeNcY"

The problem with Jeter is that everyone thought he was Italian

I love when the pitcher always beats Jackie Robinson to first.

Never thought I’d see Jeter and power in the same sentence
-
Jeter won an MVP?
-
Jeter was a great hitter, but for the entirety of his career, by every advanced fielding metric, he was a below average fielder. Not even average — he was actually a liability with his glove. Garciaparra was better. J.J. Hardy was much better. Jeter hit his way to the Hall Of Fame, but it had zero to do with his defense.
-
Honestly I just want the card so everyone wishing he isn’t going to be good goes insane. They are NEVER paying Jeter money to make it an average card, they will make him the best SS in the game.
-
You think Jeter would sign on having anything lower than gold defense? Cmon Kardashian pleases
-
Never forget jeter wasn’t the best shortstop on his team and was arguably the 4th best in his division the majority of his career
