POTM needed for any collections later??

I'm wondering if it's safe to sell all of my May Topps Now cards because I would much rather have the stubs than Semien, or if I might need them or Semien himself for a collection down the road? I haven't played DD in a while so I don't know what to expect. I've already finished the Monthly Awards collection for Mariano, and I can use silvers and cheap golds for the Mariano Topps Now collection so those aren't a factor. I'm specially curious about whether I'll need the Topps Now diamonds and/or Semien for collections later. Any insight is appreciated. Thanks!

Last year, the lightning cards were needed to get a voucher towards Trout. But like Rivera, you could skip a few collections so it isn’t exactly required

Thank you. Do you know what else would be required? The lightning cards seem like a pretty easy one to do since it's free, I'm just itching to finish the Live series.

Pretty much a little bit of everything like you see in the Mariano collection. You’ll probably see lightning cards and Homerun Derby cards added. Again it’s just speculation based on last year. No guarantees.
As for when, I believe it dropped start of September but @SaveFarris_PSN would know this for sure

Ya I'm trying to sell off everything I don't need so I can finish LS also, but I'm more apt to sell the topp now cards from May since we will probably get a collection in the 4th inning for the June Topps now like they did for the 3rd inning...I'm sort of waiting when it comes to the 4th inning because of the xp decrease for playing games. I've done the conquest already, waiting for the showdown and more collections and conquests to get most of the xp that way. Also, waiting for TA 3 to drop because then I double up when I do play vs cpu and get xp plus the TA points. I'm offline only, can't stand the lag online lol any feedback would be helpful for which cards are the best to sell off that probably won't bite down the road if they make a collection for them

Thanks for all the info everyone! So if last year is an indicator then last year's Honus is equivalent to this year's Mo, and then we'll likely have an equivalent to let year's Trout?

No Honus was in ‘19, Trout in ‘20. Both were just 1 collection.
This year is the first time they introduce multiple collection rewards

Yeah that’s new and no, SDS confirmed on the stream that he was the first of more collection rewards

Ah yes. Sorry I was thinking like an ultimate potm card or something. I was thinking how Tatis wasn't even the best player on his team last year. Much less player of the year

I expect part 2 sometime this month and final BOSS in September just in time for post season ball. Since SDS said there will be 3 of them this year.

I’m hoping/preparing for a Parallel (Level 5) Player Collection. I have two - Tatis & Hader - trying to get three more over next few weeks.
And maybe one where you have to Parallel one player from each collection (Breakout/Future Star/Second Half) to Level 1.

Honestly flip them. They are so active they’ll pay for themselves pretty quickly.
