MLB 19 franchise save freezes the game

I'm trying to carry my 19 franchise over to 20, I'm currently at august 26th 2017. Well, my save files load correctly, but whenever I try to advance to the next game, the application freezes and ther's no way to recover it barring close and restart. I've carried over my franchise since mlb 15 to past games with no problem. Is this a bug which will be fixed sooner or later? Thanks

I have experienced the same thing and I don't want to lose the franchise i have played with since 2015. The same freezing of the game occured when I tried carrying over my RTTS player that i have had for five years. Hoping this get fixed.

good news, it's getting fixed in patch 1.05
