PS4 vs PS5 hitting

I just got a PS5 this week and I just flat out can't hit. I was crushing the ball on PS4. Is it this different or am I exaggerating? Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to change a setting or something? Tips/advice is very appreciated.

Update: plugged in ps4 to play the event. I got 5 frames per second at polo about. PS4 cant even run this game...

I agree. I have both, the game is beautiful on ps5, looks like absolute shite on ps4 yet I hit way better on ps4. No idea

I got desperate for event wins and dusted off the ps4. I was getting 10 fps at best at polo grounds.
