How long does the market take to un-tank?

Content will become more reward heavy going forward. This will keep downward pressure on prices. 90+ packs are out now, lots of packs coming from conquest, events and daily's. I wouldn't expect to see yesterdays prices again all year.

Most of the live series cards will not recover from this (near quick sell value for sub 90 diamonds and all golds), it will take until the next stub sale to have any sort of impact upwards for the overall market. Speaking of stub sale, they usually do one around 4th of July, so maybe they drop that on us this week to help mitigate market impact. We’ll see

Not complaining about this one bit, i'm cleaning up on some of these cards that have dropped heavily. Finally got Martinez All Star card, along with Matthews, Morgan, Maddux, Jansen and Hershiser. This price drop deffinetly helps prepare for the big collection.
I have a feeling there is a collection coming right after this sale.

Dude -- I bought him yesterday.....i worked all week to get enough stubs to buy him before the program ended so i could start inning 4 with my shiny new Trout --
if i would have waited one more day i could have saved all that work and hundreds of thousands of stubs....Its so deflating to know you not only wasted hours and hours of time, but all the currency you made in those hours and hours, too.
I want to eat my controller.

Exactly. I'm happy for everyone else being able to complete the LS collection, but it just sucks in our own case.
Oh, I also bought Cole so I'm out over 200k, which is a LOT for a player that's NMS and doesn't flip the market.

market will stay the way it is now, if people needed a card theyll get it now, after the 1/2 price packs are people really going to need these high dollar live series cards??? i just dont see it..

You guys mention that it’s not coming back unless there’s a stub sale. Which I feel like they have done in previous years with the All-Star Break. Because that’s the only way they convinced me to buy Home Run Derby packs. So maybe it IS coming soon…

So weird they inflated the prices of higher tier cards by adding more stubs into the game via upgrades and give aways. Then SDS tanks the market by doing 50% packs and 90+ live series packs and other pack giveaways. They also did flash sales and other things to bring in more cards. I think that once the 50% pack ends they will introduce the TA3 to boost prices. Will also add to the BIG collection to bolster demand. This is going to be an up and down market and right now it's down.
