Myplayer in FA

I know most to everyone knows that your Myplayer will be in the FA at some point during the 2nd season. I’m just curious has anyone figured out how to not make him a trash SP. I’m a 91 LF and when I see him on the FA as SP I’m confused. His attributes are the same as my LF but I can’t change his position. So has anyone figured out how to change it? Ps I don’t have a SP load out so I don’t have to change which built is activated
