I am not here to complain about contact swing bc there's honestly no point but I genuinely need help on how to get guys out that contact swing the whole game. once guys get 2 strikes on them you can throw everything in the dirt and they'll still foul it off over and over.

I don't know what else to do when every guy works a 10 pitch at bat and they finally hit a contact swing bomb on a cutter on the hands. Im stuck in CS and highly doubt ill be able to make WS until I can figure how to get guys that do that out.

I typically just throw a fastball as high as I possibly can.

If you pitch better contact swinging by your opponent means nothing. It's all about skill

Not even close to being true, you can dot pitches all day long usig pinpoint and guys will still foul off ball after ball

It depends what difficulty you're on. If it's all star or lower, just accept the a strikeout may not be in the cards and they will be able to get hits on good pitches so mix things up and locate just off the zone hoping for weak contact. If it's HOF or higher then still make good pitches, but if it's 0-2 or 1-2 you want to avoid the zone and change speeds because they can't foul off a too early/late swing

PCI placement is basic baseball? The PCI has nothing to do with baseball.

Sliders way outside on same handed batters and really high fastballs usually do the trick. it can be ridiculous sometimes. If all else fails, pitch to contact low and away.

real baseball is hot and cold zones and swing angles and tendencies, if you haven't Noticed there are literally I pass in the dugout with video of opposing pitchers and hitters to see there "pci" aka swing paths and ECT. and in this case for his question on how to combat contact hitter on a "Baseball Video Game" Pci is Baseball.

It’s a pain in the [censored]. I throw so many pitches that get tipped. It makes it very hard to get strikouts on good players bc they won’t chase the curve or high fastball so you have to keep the pitch around 6 inches out and it still gets blasted

There is no possible way. You can throw pitches in the dirt or up at the chin and they will still end up as bloop hits\homers

No, the PCI is a game construct that does not simulate baseball in any way at all. Hot and cold zones are not real, they are a statistic, and a pci is in no way simulating a 3 dimensional swing path. PCI is a 2D mechanic intended solely to make hitting arcade in a video game. It is not baseball. Similarly, throwing the ball is baseball, but hitting a line with a swing meter is not baseball. It is just the best they can do for a video game. Calling it baseball is absurd. The only baseball in any video game are based on decisions you make, like pitch location, pitch choice, deciding to bunt or not, deciding to steal or not, your lineup, etc.. The closest mechanic to baseball in the game is probably pitch timing when you are batting. At least that feels almost like timing a swing in RL. Moving the PCI to the pitch location does not feel anything like playing.
