Too many pitchers who throw sliders every darn pitch

No pitcher in the world uses sliders almost every dam pitch for dirt [censored] and then spots the slider on bottom of the zone then dirt [censored] and so on.
Discipline wise I am getting better at but the angle on this video game is very hard to decipher. U can read a dirtball much easier in a real game(yes you can). In this video game of baseball, the count means nothing as far as what pitch u can anticipate so, Fy Oswalt slider using haggots.
On a side note I appreciate good players who actually use the strike zone..kudos to real players on this game.

No pitcher in the world uses sliders almost every pitch because real life batters wouldn't chase it over and over. If a pitcher knew he could get every batter to chase it consistently, a real life pitcher would absolutely throw it every time.

Totally agreed. Some way sds needs to make this pitch better recognizable to read bottom of zone vs bottom of outside zone...its ridiculously hard to read unless u just take and gamble

Trevor Bauer recently went through a stretch of throwing over 20 consecutive Sliders to Manny Machado in 4 abs (most were considerably off the plate, with a few painted on the corner). Bauer had pretty good results (2 SO's, a ground out, and a HR)... So it does happen.

heres a big tip, go into practice get them just to throw sliders, change your cameras till you find one that works

Haha some do! Watch baseball! Brewers vs Padres a few weeks ago padres RP threw about 30 straight sliders/curveballs against the Brewers and the brewers struck out evertime.

Earlier this year Bauer threw Manny 12 straight sliders in a game.

Noone saying we are God's, I'm not great at hitting at all but I understand that there's no magical wall that makes the ball travel less when it's out of the strike zone. Like I said, go watch old Vlad highlights. He feasted on pitches out of the zone
