Why can’t I advance bases in moments?

What are you doing to advance to the next base? In other words, what buttons are you pushing?

It uses RTTS baserunning controls since you only control a single player. Push the right stick up to advance back to retreat

I would check the fielding options. That's odd

Also, If you don't want to change anything, try using L1 or R1 one of them should work.

L1 and r1 don’t do anything even tho the screen denotes them as advance and retreat

It only does this to me for moments. Online and RTTS the triggers work perfect. In moments they don’t work at all.. I don’t know and it’s extremely annoying

Are you playing on playstation? For me I have to tilt the left joystick up while the player is running to first base

Moments are a little odd, they're different than your standard controls in that they use RTTS baserunning controls. Point your left stick towards the base you want to advance to and you should be good.

I thought this post was about teammates clogging the bases in front of you.

IE trying to do the “4 total bases” for Dave Parker moments.. but every hit in the gap is a single because I can’t advance him passed first base. Is this a glitch? Is there a fix?
r1 moves you in moments so if you are trying to do it like you do in a dd game then he will just stay on first.
