Lagging out of Ranked Season games

The past 3 ranked seasons games I’ve played I’ve lagged out of and been hit with a loss and lost rating on all of them. I have a wired connection to my xbox so idk why this keeps happening. Is this a me problem or a them problem. Also why do I get hit with a loss for something out of my control. I was tied in one game and was leading the other 2. Infuriating.
