I recently switched from a ps4 to the ps5. The only difference is how crisp the 4k looks and all the stupid [censored] birds flying in straight lines all over the place. The ps5 Is capable of 120hz but mlb the show isn't capable of running any faster than 60.

In short they really mailed it in.

I disagree. Yes its a port and not made specifically for ps5 but the game is far crisper and smoother. What about the loading screens? Almost no wait. The worst part is playing an opponent with a last gen, u can tell before the game starts. It takes 45 seconds for the first batter to be ready. Yes you only get 60 for but I think last years was only 30 for but I could be wrong. In short I notice no lag or chopping. As for playing in mlb stadiums it appears to be an exit velocity problem but that not a ps5 issue its a sds issue.

That's true the load times are nice. And I did say the game looks beautiful. Maybe "mailed it in" was a bit much.

Do you have any clue how much power it takes to run 4k 120 fps? My rtx 3070 can't do it in most games unless I put the settings down to potato then the game looks like [censored]. For Christ sake the PS5 can't run rainbow six siege at 4k/120 and that game is 6 years old.

Going from PS4 to PS5 is a big difference. At MLB stadiums it runs like the PS4 pro does on the faster graphic setting but now at 4k 60fps.

Yeah my bad. Shouldnt be complaining. Do people still play r6. That was one of my favorite games ever.

Is that what the issue is? I can never find rhyme or reason as to why that happens but that makes some sense now.

$700 PS5 for faster load times? I guess I don’t feel bad for not being able to snag one yet although I would enjoy the slightly better graphics.

The whole experience is better. Start up, loading the ps store, scrolling thru everything. If you've ever seen the difference between a HDD and SSD in a PC in person it's the same difference with the PS5.
I used my son's old PS4 in their room to log into streaming services and it sucked. It was way slower doing everything

I don’t really care that much about that stuff. I’m sure if you have a PS5 it would suck going back, but if you’ve never had one those are very minor QOL upgrades for $700. Just my opinion. I’ll be happy when I get one but definitely not going to overpay.
