CAP Relief Pitchers: why do they have 100+ stamina?

I found the best solution for this; don't play ranked. Honestly I'm not even kidding, with all the server issues, the freeze glitches and also this nonsense going on I'm just not gonna bother with playing any ranked. I'll play BR or replay a great single player game in the meantime.
Only issue with that is some people will still play Ranked. Meaning that if instead of 200 people making WS/getting 40 Wins, we'll only have half if that (est) thus making the cost of WS cards inflate. Which will cause the market to inflate.
Who cares man. Lots of people including myself have Jackie, Chipper and Mariano and then some stubs to spare. I have about 500K of investments sitting in my binder and my current stub balance is 900K. So 1.4M if I cash out on my investments before they go up to gold or diamond. If my investments work out, I'd have so many stubs I don't even know what to do with them. Same thing every year honestly, they literally throw stubs at you left and right. I'll overpay for some random card I want, I honestly do not care.

Yeah I don't really see that happening this year because of the 40 win program in ranked and 100 point program in BR. Enough people will play to make sure they aren't that rare.

Yeah I agree. And when it gets to the point where no new rewards are coming out I'm sure you will get a pack every so many ranked wins or BR points. Whether people like the cumulative wins or BR program is up to them, but I think it will accomplish its goal, to eliminate the waitlists

I hear that. I’d just like to be able to use the cards I get and enjoy them.
I’ve always only played BR to make stubs for my ranked squad. I enjoy a 9 inning game much more than a 3 inning game as you can pick up on a pitcher’s tendency and it feels more like a real game.

Sad this is how it seems to be. I'll still play ranked and deal with the BS because its my favorite mode but it is [censored] sure frustrating between glitches, random exit velos/results, and CAP pitchers (not experienced this personally yet).
Currently doing mostly BR hoping to nab Leiter this weekend and working on finishing LS collections. Otherwise I'm replying FFVIIR on PS5 and enjoying every nostalgia filled moment again.
I hate the combat on the remake; probably getting too old. Curiously, I didn’t struggle with XV.

To each their own I guess. I found the combat to be amazing (I'm almost 35 for reference), especially once you learn and get used to the system. Much more engaging as well compared to the OGs where you just hold X to attack and beat everything (except bosses). The DLC made it even better with synergized attacks with Yuffie/Sonon which felt like testing ground for future releases.

SDS, why?
I know by playing RTTS you can level your base stamina up to 50 but why doesn’t the archetype for relievers decrease stamina by at least 25? Why does it buff stamina instead?
You have guys starting their reliever Caps every other game as an opener and throwing 9 innings with ease.
I even saw a guy who threw his CAP reliever for 5 innings, then the very next game threw him for a full 9 innings for a shutout. It just doesn’t make sense. It’s making ranked unplayable as it seems everyone is using their CAP as a pitcher now and using him as a reliever to work around your stamina penalties for a SP.
Please fix your game.
This game went downhill fast for me. Warped pitching speeds being the main culprit. Add in CAP pitchers and I really lost interest in playing so much. Played a few games last night but as soon as I got notification of a friend I knew was going to play PUBG, I quit the game and went over to that. Been playing that a lot more lately.
