Yeah that happens in baseball but it's probably the least fun thing about the sport. Why incorporate that into a video game? Why is the reward for all of this John Olerud?

Events are just a place for SDS to dump the cards no one wants outside of fans for that specific team/player.

I don’t really mind event rewards being meh. They’re kind of just there for you to warm up with or parallel some guys.

I did actually intend to play the event in order to warm up and maybe get an edge in Battle Royale since it's on lower difficulty. Three games later and I'm on the whinging boards. Guess it really is a me problem.

I'm not a great hitter so I never expect great results when I play online, but I did a little event run yesterday/today. I went 4-2. In the two losses, I was no-hit. In two of my 4 wins, I no-hit my opponent. In one of my two losses, I was also no-hitting my opponent until they homered on their 9th batter. So, there wasn't a lot of offense on either side in any of those six match-ups.
