What you're seeing on stream isn't actually representative of what they are experiencing. It's moving that fast for THEM.

Save a video clip of your gameplay and watch it back. It moves far slower than what you experienced in game.

Or, stream a game yourself on a delay and watch it back after every pitch. You will see it slower on your stream screen than what you experienced on your console screen.

Was just about to say this because i feel the same way as you sometimes. best advice would be keep grinding. i practice on hall of fame and somewhat legend so the ball looks slower. goodluck

Yeah dude I get your complaints but don’t discredit your opinion by saying stuff like coast players have better connections and streamers see everything slower. We all deal with what you’re experiencing. No need to exaggerate or say you’re at a disadvantage compared to others.

I thing what he’s referring to about ping has a lot of merit. And I do think people are having different experiences with this game. Do most of the games you play run smoothly, or are most of them where the pitches seem like they’re going 200 mph?

For the most part my games have been fairly smooth but I have definitely experienced games with warping pitches that look like they’re 200mph out of the hand. Combine that with someone who’s pitching very quickly and it is pretty hard to be successful.

Last few weeks, 200 for sure.

So you are telling me these content creators are hitting .400 seeing the speeds I see? No chance. We are not all seeing the same speeds. Just as some games you can turn on 102 and others you are getting blown away with 93.

People that are hitting .400 are having the games they can turn on 102 all the time. I would hit .400 if I saw those games all the time. I have tried wired, wireless (5g), mobile hot spot and even 2g while streaming netflix. Same result for each one. I wouldn't mind it happening every once in a while. It is every game now. I don't know if maybe less people are playing and the match making is expanding, bad opponent internet connections. No idea but this has been a problem for years they obviously haven't figured out.

You are just not that good. But here are some tips to help you: Get a monitor with a high refresh rate and low input lag, hardwire your system and have good internet, play in performance mode also practice. Good luck

    Gee thanks Tyler.

1440p, 144 mz, 1ms monitor. Fiber wired, great router, new cables. Anything else? Usually score 15-20 runs (sometimes more, sometimes less) on legend against the CPU where the game is actually smooth.

I thought it may have been the router/modem combo from Google when the game was playing good out of the gate but right back to where we started so it wasn't that.

Tell your network guys they need to do a better job of match making. Playing people 1500 miles away does not provide a good playing experience.

How would you feel about adding a ping indicator or being able to set some sort of ping threshold for matchmaking purposes?

Most of the east coast sucks (just my opinion). Florida would be good. Only the gulf side though.

Must be nice to see so many people not have this issue. If you do have it and you're not speaking up, you are not doing yourself or the other people dealing with this any favors.

I hear you but I can’t complain about something that doesn’t seem to happen to me. I have good and bad days and I can usually tell when I step into practice mode what kind of gaming session I’ll be getting. I’m either really on it or I’m not. I’ve never seen fluctuations from one game to the next. Sorry but I just haven’t

There are times when my pci placement is off. There are certain pitchers I just can't hit (just like irl). What I am talking about is a whole different issue. I think it boils down to match making and connections. I don't want a garbage game where I got matched in 5 seconds. I would rather wait a few minutes for a good game.

Again, why am I in the middle of the country being matched with east and west coast players? Makes zero sense unless they have good high speed internet also which is extremely doubtful. I get matched with people that disconnect. Although possible, I highly doubt a storm came through and knocked out power at that precise time. More than likely they had [censored] internet. Why did I match up with them?

I’m all for it. I don’t have anything against what OP says on a regular basis. He has valid complaints which I’ve seen myself in the game. I just think he would be taken more seriously if it wasn’t always some conspiracy that streamers get more time to react than he does or that coast players have an advantage. The victim role isn’t going to get you anywhere in life.

Seen a lot of Koogs and his games lag quite bad similar to alot of mine not from NA but when I get matched with those guys generally super300mph fb hard to hit on AS. I get matched up against European's and it's kinda easy not just because a lot are worse than me but that super300mph fb on HoF is like a 80mph from veteran cpu. It's a massive difference and not only that and this for op possibly network congestion?

Doubtful. Not much going on my network. Also last time I called Google about this I was the only person on the node. Meaning I was not sharing with any neighbor's as they didn't have Google.

Not just streamers. Look at the highest rated people. Ton of people with names from east and west coast. Yes, coast are more populated but also more people sharing wifi. There isn't a chance in hell anyone is hitting .400 on legend/HOF seeing the speeds I am constantly seeing. No big deal. I'll just continue to play PUBG when squad is on. I'll pick up Battlefield when that comes out.

Yup, most people aren't going to route cords through walls and between floors, especially renters. Most people use wifi and are mostly fine with it.

PS. Last year was atrocious for the issues you're talking about. I haven't played online much this year because it's just not enjoyable swinging a bat underwater. It's been a little better this year, but I have had games with 200mph fastballs, including one early on on Veteran believe it or not.
