Records reset but not stats?

Never played DD before so not sure how it works but with the new season starting today the records reset. But stats dont? Just started getting the hang of hitting was hoping they would reset and I didnt have to look at all those .210 averages lol

Stats and records do NOT reset. Rating drops a bit and that is it.

There is a current season record and I believe what is wrongly called “lifetime” which is just this years stats.
If you are looking in the leaderboard under “current season” then I believe it will have reset statistics for the current season as well, like BA ERA and so on.
If you were to go to specific cards it will show stats from the entire year and I don’t believe you can check any “Specific card” for their current season stats.

When I go to standings my brain gets fried trying to figure it out. I am 1-0 in the new season and i scroll through the different levels, spring training, post season, world series etc etc and my rank changes every level. My rank is #6 for world series.... i dont get it.

Well stats and records do reset for each season, but you also have an over all record and stats that go all year. You can view both separately in standings.
