Elation or devistation

Went into the 1sr Inning Final Boss Showdown needing 8 runs. Pulled Marquez, so I figured I had a chance.
As I write this, score is tied 15 all. Nobody on base. 1 out left. Next 3 batters are Baez, Soto, and Bryant.

Dude. I paused the game. Went upstairs to take a leak, took the dog out, and chugged two fingers of Scotch; before I came back. Wanted to relax.
First pitch I swung and hit a solo shot with Baez. Won 16-15.
Not really a brag moment, but after trying for multiple attempts, I can now move on to the TA ones.

No problem. I know it's just a video game; but thats the furthest I got. Always lost out on the first or second mini boss.
Once I made it there and saw Marquez come up; I knew this was going to be my best chance.
It was a nail biter though, as I started off with a single from LS Villar then a 2 run shot with Trout. Followed by a solo shot with Eddie Rosario. That made it 15-11 and I still had 15 outs left.
Took it to 14 with 3 outs left, then proceded to ground out with Trout and Rosario. Thought for sure I would blow it
When I saw the animation from Baez, showing it was a homer; I yelled so loud I woke up my wife.
Needless to say, she didnt understand. Lol
