Can Any of You Relate? (Struggling)
-
Last year when I played this game for the first time, I struggled mightily when facing pitchers from the same side (R/R [righty/righty], L/L [lefty/lefty]). As the year went on, I got comfortable with R/R and was still handicapped with L/L. This year, it’s the opposite - feel comfy with L/L and horrid with R/R.
It’s now to the point that when I have a R/R situation, I’m tilting my body and head over to my right like Stephen Hawking (without the brilliance) to pretend to have a lefty at the plate; yet still failing. I don’t want to resort to switch hitting and hope to figure it out instead.
Any suggestions or new variations of “git gud”? All is welcome.

Same. My opponent just throws sinkers inside R/R and I can't catch up to it.

Try strike zone offset view. Helped me tons

change hitting view or sit a spot in the zone or certain pitch(es) and ignore all else until you start to get a feel for it again.
( 2nd would probably be better to try against cpu, a person would probably figure it out and exploit that. -
