First baseman can't cover 1st!!

Road to the show mode first baseman unable to cover 1st! It started out just on bunts but now even routine ground balls!! And who is the genius that wrote the algorithm that has POWER hitters bunting EVER, let alone 2 out rbi situations. Anyone ever seen JD Martinez bunt!!??

Same here. I posted about this weeks ago and wrote to SDS about it with no response. It’s beyond frustrating. Every time it happens it leads to runs being scored by the opponent, often times 5 or more runs. Really needs to be addressed.
I think a found a semi fix however. Whenever it happens to me, the next time I’m holding a runner on at first I make the pitcher throw over for a pickoff attempt (you can do it the same way you would throw a pick off to first if you were playing as the pitcher). Next time I have to cover the bag on a grounder after that I’m able to.
