The problem with that is there are guys who are going to make the all star game that really have no business being there, except for the 1 from every team rule.

Robinson Cano was the only card that I really liked from the HR derby cards last year.

The problem with that is there are guys who are going to make the all star game that really have no business being there, except for the 1 from every team rule.
Then give those guys a 90... No harm no foul... And it celebrates being an all-star for that year..
HR Derby cards did the same thing. Some of them weren't even Allstars...

Am I crazy or did years past they used to have an all star pack where you would get a LS card who made the all star team. I always like the HR Derby cards because lets be real power/home runs is 80-90% of this game but I'll take any new collection.

There’s still more legends to reveal though. I mean we didn’t know Thome was coming in TA3 last year. Maybe they make a power move. Idk I’m just wishful thinking.

There is soooooop much they could do in terms of all star flashback cards for current players!!! They literally could drop over a 100 cards easily at the all star break. They won’t, but they could!

Except Thome is a respectable HOFer who's also an MLB Network analyst.
ARod was a multiple times caught and suspended steroid user and controversial figure.
Beltran was the ringleader of the Houston cheating scandal and has been basically blacklisted since being fired before he even began managing the Mets.
Both would obviously be awesome cards though. I just don't see it happening the same reason I don't think Bonds and Clemens would be.. or Alomar after this year.
