Man, conquest is a drag this year

I’ve always been more of an offline grinder and enjoyed conquest. This year conquest is bad. It was already getting stale and needed a rework. So they “reworked” it by making the cpu an asshole. The pizza map is the worst. You literally spend more time watching the sim screen than actually playing games. At least they make it interesting (infuriating) by letting the cpu regularly win sims down 10-1.

Ya it's definitely true the CPU wins way too many down by a lot this year. My worst was losing a 20-3 sim. From that moment forward I try not to watch the sim go, and go on my phone for a few seconds lol

Conquest is conquest. I do agree the maps that start the cpu with a lot of spots already are a drag tho. But without it that would have just been a triangle map I suppose.

Best thing to do is always use ur lowest starting pitcher Bc they’ll then use their lowest. Only steal as many fans as u have to for the missions. If ur using guys u want to have paralleled, go off but if not, get like 3 runs then just bunt for the last AB’s. Try to get enuf fans to do veteran at the very least, u don’t need to stock up fans to play on rookie

I don't think people's complaints are the games themselves. I think it is the "simming" between games. I use quotes on simming because I don't believe for a second that it is actually simming games. I think it a dice roll weighted by some factors like total number of fans or percentage of territories, etc. With some tweaking here and there by SDS

I was thinking, too, I’m just kind of bored with it. I’ve done all the maps and the US map twice. I know it’s good for innings, plate appearances and parallel. Just kind of bored with it right now. Have to go play some other types for a while

I'm complaining about the games too!!! I had four perfect hits two should have been Homers but no they were all outs. However, the computer gets homers on pci's that's aren't even on the ball with their number 8 batter!!! Conquest is a rip off and the only reason I do them is for the xp for the innings programs and obviously complete the TA maps... really hope next year is better. I mean I can play the cpu and score 5-10 runs just about every game on all star but yet I play conquest on all star and I'm lucky if I score a run in extra innings but then never fails the computer gets a bs homerun on a pitch out of the zone. The difficulty levels should be the same no matter what part of the game your playing...

I just finished the US map, when I took the last stronghold I had 99 hexes. I timed my self to see how long it takes to sim all the games to completely take over the map. It took an hour and a half of mind numbing time to sim through the remaining hexes. That time obviously doesn't include all 60 or so sims I had to do to get in position to take over the 30 strongholds.
I timed how long it took to sim the pizza map and it took a half an hour.
With all of the conquest maps we have already done and that will be released through the remainder of the year I can't imagine how much of my playtime is simply wasted on this.
SDS has to figure out something to speed this up, massive waste of my time that could actually be used playing the game.

One of the best ways to use conquest to your advantage is to put in those Monthly cards/42 Cards/Evolution cards etc and use them to grind out the missions so you don't have to worry about using weaker cards against online opponents
