The idea of events is ment to be for cards that are not the most common.
Events should never be where all the best cards can be used.
No player reward is not optimal but there are alot of player that could benefit from this event and no player reward should thin things out and drive away the too level players

I 100% agree. I'd much more enjoy something like "Live Series and veteran" "Second half and Post Season" or "Breakout and Rookie" Something with a little more diversity.

Absolutely can't stand live series only events. I do agree with the point above that events are meant for different cards to be used, but other than Trout live series cards are literally worthless. If anything I'll just use this event to parallel Suarez and co for BR season 4

Honestly, none of these cards (save for Trout) are cards I want to play with anymore. Swing and a miss in my opinion.
HUGE L of an event. I already have Trout at parallel V and all the other LS cards suck [censored].
How did they not release more 42 packs ...
