Quality Start?

I'm assuming a quality start in the game matches the MLB definition of at least 6 innings and 3 or less earned runs? Meaning it is impossible to get a quality start in a 3-inning Conquest game?

Yeah. But you would have to make sure the game stayed tied until at least the 6th inning.

Because once you take and keep the lead, in a Conquest game, the game ends.
So you would have to either not score and keep the cpu from scoring until the 6th inn. Or match the runs they do score.
Say you're up 3-0 going into the bottom of the 3rd. You have to let them score at least 3 runs to take it into 'extras'.
This is if you're trying to do it via Conquest.

Yeah. Forgot about the 4 runs or less. Best bet is to do it in a 9 inning game.

I thought there were QS in conquest -- the pitcher would need to go 2 innings; 2/3 and 6/9 are the same. Guess I was wrong.
