Ernie Banks Defense

Does anyone besides me find that Ernie Banks is a little "off" defensively?
He's obviously a Diamond, but he he has cost me runs with some very slow double play turns, and has an awkward, long release when he's throwing.
I notice nobody seems to use.
Any suggestions on his replacement?

The developers hate Cubs players. Probably going to get worse after the sweep is completed.

I use Ernie all the time. He's been great for me on defense. He does have a longer throw animation but he smacks the ball at the plate
