In manage mode the game crashes sometimes during the animation

for a relief pitcher entering the game. I've started saving the game whenever I'm preparing to go to the bullpen.

Is there a way to save without exiting the game? It's a bit of a nuisance to have to exit the game and then return.

I'm also getting a error code while playing the game, and it crashes. Are you experiencing this error code? The game freezes and then crashes.
