Ballplayer 2-Way 1B/SP not covering first

So idk if it's a bug or because my player has low reaction and fielding but about 6 times out of 10 on a ball in play to another fielder like the SS my ballplayer won't lock onto the base so the runner is safe every time.
For a reason to have a 1B/SP I model my player after myself in real life I play in an adult league and am a pitcher and first baseman I can play the out field but I'm the best first baseman on my team and one of the top 5 in my league just some context as to why I have a 1B/SP because I know most people have a different position

It’s a bug. I’ve posted about it before. Happens a lot on bunts but occasionally on routine grounders as well. If you have the settings on play all fielding chances, you’ll notice it happen 1-5 times per game. And it almost always leads to a big scoring inning for the opposing team, which creates more losses than there should be. It’s bad.
