The time is just fine. They're trying to give the most people equal opportunity. A midnight drop wouldn't accomplish that, as most are sleeping so they can go to work. You might be able to stay up until 2 or 3 in the morning, but most can't.

Most of us PlaystationChads are used to it. It's been this way for as long as any of us can remember. Likely just pushing a button when clocking out after a hard day's work of forgetting to add foreign players to the game

It ain't just that. People like to be the first to discover the cards also. I'll admit it would be kind of cool, but at the same time I won't lose any sleep over it. For others though, they really enjoy being the first.
