My first impressions

Been playing the show for a long long time. Maybe its because I just started playing almost a month in or not but the amount of free cards available to get relatively easy is incredible. I have been playing for 3 days and have a full diamond team basically with 50k stubs to spend. Well done on that aspect.
Pitching seems to involve control stat more this year, koodos to that. Perfect timed pitches are in a relatively better location than previouse years. So I like the pitching this year.
Hitting, not enough time in but it feels pretty good. Still squaring up balls into routine outs but its whatever. However, the check swing seems to be more on the you went side rather than the hold back side which was so annoying in previous years with guys check swinging at everything out of the zone so koodos to that.(this might change with better hitters?) Still badly timed swings fouling off pitches out of the zone which I do not like. The relevance of timing in a swing is still unneeded as swinging all the time is more rewarding even if you were very early or very late, that window needs to be shortened by foul ball standards as it always has.
Fielding feels better this year. My catcher now blocks as an ok college baller will. Still the occasional change ups 5 holing him but maybe a better blocking catcher will improve this. Atleast I am no longer scared to throw 0-2 pitches in the dirt with free swinging players.Game in general an -A
Of course I wasn't here in the beginning nor have read any comments on this forum about anything yet but this is my 3 day experience. Can't wait to make WS that catcher looks saweeeet!

Yea my only loss this rank season came from a game I was up 2 in bottom of 8th.... I knew it was coming too but just couldn't prevent it.

I agree completely. It’s been 2 weeks for me on this years game and this is by far the best DD I’ve played. The parallel stuff is a huge W in my opinion. Perfect mix of grinding but not necessary grinding if you don’t want to. Love the fixing of check swings and a small detail of letting us use MLB uniforms. It’s the little things that make me think I will be playing this game for the long haul. I lost interest last year around August.
Edit: Oh and NOT giving out a free 99 SP day 1 is probably my favorite aspect of this years game.
