Good god, why are there so many homeruns on All-Star SDS? You had a year to tone down the % of hits that are home runs and failed miserably.

Trea Turner with his 40 power just hits them out with ease.

Does the HR/9 stat matter this year? If so, why keep it on the cards? I wish there were pitchers who could induce soft contact once in a while and just limit things to hits IN the park. So sick of All-Star HR derby constantly.

Trust me you don’t want HR/9s to be that effective. MLB 19... the year of Kershaw. You could square up pitches perfectly and have them die on the track on a regular basis. It turns the game into complete RNG. I think hitting is perfect the way it is.

Yep, and Hader on the other end of that spectrum! His card was an auto BS lol

Perfect the way it is!? Why are there so many home runs and barely any balls that fall between the OF and the wall. Makes no sense.

I just know the other extreme and the way it is is better. If they added HR/9 to be more effective, it will be pitchers duels forever. If it’s not broke don’t fix it. Tweaking stuff like that just leads to more issues.

That's just how all-star difficulty plays. It's how it has always played. If you want to see more hit variety you're going to have to get up to HOF & above

Trea Turner is a beast and a bad example. Some peoples swing just work.

I think it could matter when playing against the CPU, but not against a live opponent. That’s at least what I have heard.

I used Tanana for the first time today and Griffey went yard, and then the commentators, bless 'em, said how amazing Frank is at limiting HRs. I was really impressed by this, so gave up another HR to Bellinger.
