Awesome!!! I was an ammotroop IYAAYAS. Built bombs and missiles for our fighters. Supported the Army a lot while down range.

Yeah the first 3 or 4 deployments were fine but it got to the point that I was literally deploying every year for 4-6 months at a time. It cost me my first marriage and being in a constant state of heightened alertness was messing with my mind. Our brains were not intended to constantly stimulated like that and of course coming home we weren’t getting enough down time before being redeployed again. I had to call it quits to save my sanity. But thank you for your service.

Thank you for your service as well. I was forced out of the Navy cause I did not E-6 in 14 years. Got a good payout with it. Retirement would have been better. I was on USS Nimitz Air Craft Carrier for 6 years, was there longer than I should have been. I did 3 Deployments in 6 years. Then I Volunteered to go on a Deployment with another ship for Humanitarian. That was a fun deployment. My wife is awesome and loved that I was in the service.

Oh you were a high year tenure casualty. That wasn’t my issue I had a line for E-7 when I got out, it was the deployments that finally did me in. Going to the armpit of the world so many times got old after the 3rd time.

I must be in the minority. I like the Team over division better. Solely for Lineup Building. I get to use more guys I wouldn't normally use when building my lineups by team. Hopefully they'll keep the 10 pts per 250 innings. That's the real question.

Innings played should get at least 15 points, and preferably 20, to at least get it somewhat close to showdown.
I don't like showdowns, won't play mto, not going to do exchanges, so it makes it really hard to complete. With pxp and innings, I'm starting to feel like 18 and the immortals. Play the game as fast as you can on rookie, bat out, and get going on the next.

Stupid take. Last year was an absurd grind for TA. It was either countless team innings or 15 hours of NTO.

I think this TA will be more like MLB show 18 i think it was when you had to grind for like stats like get -- 25 hits -- 10 XBH etc -- more but that was just an example

I am trash at hitting, so I don't play Showdown. That said, between the moments, missions, and exchanges, I'm almost done with Season 1. By playing the moments first, I was able to unlock the gold mission players, and the exchanges are pretty easy to fill. By plugging in the mission golds and filling in with a division lineup, I have been able to grind pretty steadily. I feel that this is far superior to last years' TA grind.

The one thing I think you're forgetting is that showdown or MTO specifically really only give rewards towards the affinity. However, innings can be obtained doing events, br, ranked seasons, or conquest which is usually working towards more valuable rewards.

What cards do you guys focus on for exchanges? Cheapest 83 golds, silvers, commons? Want to begin stocking up today.
I did a buckeload of cheap rookies for TA1 like Griffey, Brooks Robinson, Gwynn, etc
Some LS diamonds are close to qs value, ONLY thing I hate is exchanging one and seeing the bar for the exchange percentage hit 125%. But in some cases cheap LS diamonds may be the way to go.
This, but they will shoot up in price Friday. Anytime you can get a card at QS value, do it. At worst, you're out nothing when you sell it. At best, you make a nice profit.

An MTO run on AS with a contender will allow you to gather 72 TA points. That takes approximately 5-6 hours to accomplish. That is far an away more efficient than running showdowns back 10 times when a showdown takes over an hour to complete if you don’t skip to the final boss to complete one division
It takes WAY longer than that unless they changed it from last year....10 hours ar least. The playoffs took 4-5 hours by themselves.
Dude I played the Braves MTO this year and completed it in under 6 hours. If you play just the moments and don’t trade or bring up players it can be done pretty fast.
I simply doNt understand why people feel the need to lie.
He’s not lying. I’ve completed MTO for the Padres and the Yankees………both of which took less than 6 hours. Not trading or calling up any players is a big part of getting through it faster.

No point in arguing with him, he does this toxic stuff in every forum that I’ve seen him in. I eventually blocked him so he doesn’t show up in my feeds anymore.
