Why?

Do people show fake bunt over and over before they swing? No idea but this annoys the hell out of me.
-
Usually means they suck

for banter and to live rent free in your head.
it clearly works!

Some guys think it messes up pitching timing...it doesn't, they just look like fools.

I heard it's because it's someone saying to speed up your pitching. I was slow pitching on my last RS game and he kept bunt cheesing me. I started quick pitching and he stopped. I must've came across the one player that still does this, lol. Maybe not.

You answered your own question
Funny thing is it pisses me off and I focus more than normal and usually beat the water out of them, just a stupid tactic. Just didn't get why they do it.

Oh.. I thought it was just losers jacking off while they are trying to play and keep hitting the button. I was way off

This one made me spit my water out lol

I never cared about bunt cheese as a pitcher. If anything they are hurting their own timing. And in last years stream SDS said the fielders will start to auto adjust on repeated shown bunts. However I could see R2 cheese being annoying, especially if your using pinpoint. Luckily I haven't ran into that either.

Yeah I always seem to do better against the R2 and fake bunt cheese, because it seems they have to rely on gimmicky gameplay to win, which usually means they are not great at the game.

None of that stuff bothers me, bunt cheese, or continually showing bunt, or quick pitching etc. However, the pressing of R2 while using pinpoint is definitely a tactic that actually does negatively affect me when pitching. If they press it a the exact moment you begin your windup there's no stopping it and the windup freezes. If a player hits R2 at the beginning of the pitch sequence, that's fine, they're simply checking to see where the last pitches ended up.

its supposed to annoy you but i just find it funny and usually when someone does that i will slow pitch them for a while.

I've read it's intended to either imply you are pitching too slow or intentionally throwing too many balls out of the zone. To both I would tell the hitter to grow up and deal with it.

Most I've seen it with have done it from the very first at bat first pitch thrown. I throw tons of strikes, and don't pitch slow either. I try to keep a decent time, not too fast to slow the R2 guys, and not slow because I'd rather not waste time.
-
Dude, wait until you play someone that does this AND stacks a lineup with all speed guys...and just bunts no matter the defensive positioning. There's a clear exploit when the bunts are laid down that move the fielders out of place and you can't do [censored] no matter how hard you try (getting quickly to the ball, trying to flip it to the pitcher, trying to beat the runner to the bag, etc etc).
THOSE folks have a very special place in Hell waiting for them. They definitely aren't good people outside of a [censored] videogame.

If they do it from pitch one I just assume they think it has some impact on you as the opponent. Would only serve as motivation for me to beat them and once getting a sizable lead I would return the favor and be as toxic as possible.
