Is there a method for this that will work online that doesn’t involve stealing?

I’ve tried a sac bunt with my pitcher almost every time I had the opportunity and I have only had it work once.

So, I’m about 1 for 20. Is this just the nature of the game to avoid whatever bunt cheese is? Thanks.

That doesn't seem to work at all. I move the right stick right and the ball goes flying to the left.

Sac bunts are horrible. You have to send the players to now get out at second basically.

Online or vs cpu, sac bunts are nearly impossible without having to send your runner. And then have the risk of a pop-up or a missed bunt and getting thrown out stealing.

Every time I've tried sac bunting it usually ends up as a double play, I've just completely given up on sac bunting and just swing away with the pitcher

Thanks all. That’s what I figured. I did realize after about 10 that the visual was talking about the right analog stick and that helped. But, it seems it’s guaranteed to be a force out at second. So, I’m always right where I started but with my pitcher on base.

I’ll try the up technique next time.

I don’t want it to work every time.

Well I mean if you have a super slow runner on first, yeah you’ll likely hit into a fielder’s choice and even worst, a double play.

Bunt attributes do matter also. I’ve noticed it’s way easier to pull off a phenomenal bunt with high attributes.

Also, don’t try to drag bunt with the pitcher. Those never work. Just go straight bunt

I usually have someone with adequate speed on base. I also try to sneak an extra step. And still nothing.
