Stonghold Locked Why can't I play? (Conquest)

Trying to take over the Colorado strong hold, stole a few fans before getting there, and now when I'm next to it, its locked and it won't allow me to play them? Why is that? Is there some weird rule about stealing fans won't allow you to take the strong hold? Anyone else with this issue?

I just started this conquest, my only thought is... Are you on the correct turn?

yeah, I am on the attack phase, I can attack everything else, except the Colorado Stronghold.

Is your line broken? You have to be connected to your stronghold to be able to attack. Its possible someone broke your line.
