Ps4 to ps5

Was wondering since I bought the collectors edition disc for ps4 and I have a ps 5 digital since my upgrade won't work can I still have all my game play if I buy the digital on ps5?? Or will I have to start over

Whatever account you use will determine what you have. So as long as you are still using the same PSN yes it should all there. I dont know why you would do that though. If you already paid once.

If he has a disc version of the game but digital ps5 he’d have to pay again. Need the disc in to upgrade

Didnt see he had the diskless version of PS5. Thought he was saying he had the PS4 disk and the PS5 digital version of the game.
But, still to answer his question he will have all his stuff. -
Thanx guys big help I'm going to purchase the digital ps5 version so hopefully everything is saved
