Especially on the moments that require homers, xbh or total bases. Is the risk worth it?

On Rookie Difficulty only cause it seems like Rookie uses todays Dead Balls. Veteran and up, Normal suffices.

For whatever reason directional hitting is extremely OP on moments. Whenever I need homers I switch to directional & aim up & away to the batter’s pull side & just normal swing...8 out of 10 hits are no doubters.

This 100%. Something is wrong on Rookie. The slower pitch speeds nullify exit velocity. Power swing fixes that issue on rookie.

For 1 HR moments sure. You’ll run into one eventually.

Up and away to the batter's pull side? You mean up and away from the batters pull side?? In other words did you mean up and towards opposite field or did you mean up and to pull-side?

I hadn't thought about the exit velo, but I find on rookie the PCI is way too big and I get lazy, so using power swing forces me to keep my hitting mechanics intact.

If the batter is a lefty then I am aiming up & to the right.

I find even on veteran the RNG is to rampant. If I need a homer or XBH I’m using power swing on rookie and veteran.
