The answer is yes but not as severe as last month as people know what to expect. Initial day will have prices go up tho..

Last time the POTM dropped the diamonds were approx 14-15k each the day of release. That Buxton was highly sought after. Golds were up around 10k I believe she the silvers 5k... I would expect something similar for this, as long as the lightning card is good enough.
If you want to look at the price history of April Now's to get a feel.

I think as the year progresses these POTM will be less appealing as we get more options at each position. Buxton spiked because he was in the same category as Trout and Finley for CF. Depends on position and depth for what the POTM is but the prices will go up a little bit when it drops either way. How much is the question...
